Missions
Lighthouse Ministries is strongly committed to evangelizing across the street and around the world. Missionaries, who are on furlough, are scheduled to share in our services on a regular basis. Our church and denomination work cooperatively with World Gospel Mission, which has its headquarters in Marion, Indiana. WGM has ministries in Papua New Guinea; Hungry; Kenya, Africa; Honduras; Bolivia; Argentina; Mexico; China; India; St. Croix, USVI; and the American Indian Field located in Peoria, Arizona. Our Mission efforts are not just foreign, we are an Acts 1:8 church, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes to you. Then you will be my witnesses to testify about me in Jerusalem, all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Another way we reach out to our community is through the Inner City Mission. This mission works in the inner city of Columbus. They minister to the homeless and needy of our area.
There are opportunities throughout the year for interested individuals to minister, short-term, on various fields. Those who have gone have brought back a deeper love and passion for God and the lost.
